Problem statement.
Passionate about the environment, co-founders - Laura Brennan & Lara Páirceir, both undergraduates in different fields, wanted to reduce the impact on the environment.
They had a very strong notion that the lack of transparent information was a huge barrier between the commodity people want to shop & the products they do shop for. In order to combat the adverse effects on the planet, they wanted to give consumers the power to vote with their wallets.
Their strong sense of determination, combined with the expertise of our app developers India, became a game-changer to usher in a solution that has made it easier to live an environmentally friendly life with just scanning & knowing. We are fortunate that with our years of experience as a top mobile app development company, we have successfully brought the client’s vision to reality with a product that more than 1 million people use regularly.
What is Ethicart?
An app that is much needed in the world we live in today, Ethicart is a simple, easy-to-use app to live more ethically & eco-friendly! The app allows making sustainable food choices and gives invaluable information about a product.
The ‘scan & shop’ feature in the app permits a user to know the sustainability criteria of a product. Ethicart is developed to promote sustainability among consumers & by letting them switch to sustainable alternatives.
Initially developed only for students of Trinity College Dublin, Ethicart is now available publicly & has partnered with 'SuperValue' to help maximum people lead an eco-friendly lifestyle. We at Indian App Developer made sure that the app bridges the gap & assists people in making sustainable food choices.
